Question:
The 2011 Dodge Journey has a separate amber turn signal as you say the 2009 did. Is the 118495 still the correct harness for the 2011 Journey?

The correct wiring harness for the 2011 Dodge Journey is the Tow Ready Wiring Harness, part # 118536. This harness is needed because the 2011 model uses LED tail lights. This harness is a universal application, so I have linked the installation instructions below, and I will also describe how to wire the harness to your vehicle.
To install the hardwire kit on your vehicle, you will need to use the included circuit tester to locate the brake light circuit behind the vehicle tail light. Once this circuit is located it will be connected to the smaller red wire coming from the converter box.
Next, locate the left turn signal circuit and connect the yellow wire to that circuit. The green wire is then ran to the passengers side and connected to the right turn signal circuit. The brown wire is connected to the tail light circuit and the white wire is connected to a suitable ground location.
Finally, the power wire (thicker red wire) is ran to the vehicle battery through the included inline fuse holder.
The Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118495, is for the 2010 Dodge Journey without the LED tail lights.
