Question:
Can you tell me what tow packages will fit a 2017 Dodge Journey crossroads? The dealer couldnt do it for me because the crossroads has a different bumper. Can you explain whats different about it? Thanks.

the 2017 Dodge Journey Crossroads has a different lower rear fascia with chrome trim and larger exhaust. The dealer might not have an option that will fit it but we do! Take a look at Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75648. I know for a fact it fits the Crossroads model because we installed it on one! I have included a link to the video showing the installation for you.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For a trailer wiring harness it will depend on the type of tail lights on the vehicle. Your Crossroads model should have LED tail lights and you would use # 118536. But if it has incandescent bulbs instead then use # C56109.
