Recommended Cargo Bag for 2016 Ford Escape with Panoramic Roof

Question:

Hi, I have a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium with the Silver roof rack side rails with two black crossbars. It has the panoramic roof. Is there a Cargo Bag or something that I can purchase to carry extra luggage?

I looked up an online copy of your 2016 Ford Escape's owner's manual and it states that you are limited to carrying 45 pounds on the roof rack if you have a glass roof an that no weight should be on the roof itself.

You should verify with your printed copy but if what I found checks out you can use a roof bag to carry additional cargo as long as you're within the weight limit.

I recommend the Rightline Gear Ace Jr # RL100A50. It'll install onto your Escape's crossbars and hold up to 9 cubic feet of additional gear. Rightline products have great weatherproofing all the way down to the zipper design. I personally use a different product (Their tent) that has a similar material and have been very happy with it.
