Trailer Wheel Availability with Bolt Pattern 5 on 5-1/2 inch

Updated 07/05/2017 | Published 07/03/2017

Question:

I am trying to replace the tires and wheels on an old boat trailer. They are 7.50 X10 tires on 5 on 5.5 inch lug rims with a 4 inch center hole. I would like to go to a 205-75-14 trailer tire and new steel rims. It looks like the overall diameter will be about the same as the original tires. I need 6 of them.

Since you have a bolt pattern of 5 on 5-1/2 inch (this is not a common bolt pattern), we only have one wheel available that will fit your hub. We have the Vesper Trailer Wheel w/ Offset - 15" x 5" Rim - 5 on 5-1/2 - # TA37RR.

Since these are 15 inch rims, you would have to go with a 205/75R15 instead of the 14 inch that you mentioned and have them mounted at a local shop. These tires have an outer diameter of 27-13 inches and a section width of 7.99 inches. You would have to make sure that you have room for the additional size and the -.67" offset of the wheel for this setup to work.
