Is the Replacement 3-Wing, Low M6 Hand Knob # 753-0783 a Direct Replacement for Thule Carriers  

Hi, I have a set of Hull-A-Port and a set of Thule J-Racks. I left them on over the winter and sadly learned the hard way not to do this. I had to cut off some of the bolts as they were stripped/rusted. Some of the wing knobs had to be cut off too. I purchased some new Thule bolts in official packaging from a vendor and I purchased some 3-wing knobs from another online vendor, who listed the knobs as replacementinch knobs. Well, there is no way I can use these knobs because they do not fit properly on the replacement bolts. They are made of an inferior plastic that is slippery to the touch. There is just enough wiggle room between the bolt and inner threading of the knob that these will not slide off, but I can easily see this bolt or the inner knob becoming stripped, OR the knobs will spin off in the wind and I am NOT willing to even attempt to risk my rack or yak coming off while Im on the highway. These are not items I purchased from you, but before I purchase from you, I want to make sure that your products arent the same. Are the knobs that you have made of the same durable plastic as the factory ones that come with the racks? Or if they are cheaper quality, do you have bolts that will work with them and the racks so that I do not have to worry about potentially killing someone? Sorry for being so dramatic, but if you saw what I received from that vendor youd be skeptical about purchasing any more without asking first. Thank you!!
