Hook Size of Rack'em Motorcycle Helmut Rack

Question:

I need clarification on the measurements. Your diagram shows the hook 2 inches from the main part measured from the tip yet your description accompanying the diagram refer to it a a 2 inch hook. So is the length of the hook AND the distance of the tip to the main body both 2 inches? My trailer has the ability to put a hook over the top but the outer skin is less than 2 inches from the inner wall as most trailers would be.

I just went out and re-measured the hook of the Rack'em Motorcycle Helmut Rack # RA-22.

The inside length of the hook is 1-1/2 inches and it reaches about 1-1/4 inches from the main upright. It's also about 1-1/4 inches from the top of the upright to the bottom of the opening of the hook on the inside.
