The Blue Ox Alpha, # BX7380, will work for your 2015 GMC Terrain. You will also need base plates that are a fit for your vehicle and that work with the tow bar, and those are the Blue Ox plates, # BX1689. These particular base plates are going to require some trimming of your bumper; to avoid that I recommend going with the RoadMaster base plates, # 523163-1, which are a confirmed fit for a 2015 Terrain unless it has a brush guard.

You can use the Alpha tow bar with these plates, but it would require the use of an adapter, # RM-031, so I recommend going a different direction with the tow bar and using the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, # RM-522.

There are a number of other parts you would need to flat-tow your 2015 Terrain: safety cables, lighting, and a supplemental braking system. For safety cables you can use RoadMaster Coiled # RM-643, and for a lighting kit I'd go with the Roadmaster Diode, # RM-15267.

A supplemental braking system is also going to be required in most states, and I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO, # RM-15267, which is a one-time install, making it easier to use than a portable system. A stop light switch kit, # RM-751439, is also going to be necessary for use with a braking system on your vehicle.

Additionally, your 2015 Terrain is going to require that you pull a fuse so that you do not drain the battery, and to make that a simpler process, you can use the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass, # RM76511. I have added links to video installs of this product and others for you to take a look at.
