Recommended Power Steering Cooler for 2004 Honda Pilot

Not finding a stock suggestion for a 2004 Honda Pilot. is the d13212 overkill vs the d13200? am I safe with either? towing a 1500 pound boat. also installing a d13503 transmission cooler

Pretty much the only time that a power steering cooler would be overkill is if you lived in a cold environment. If you live in a cold environment then you will just want to give your 2004 Honda Pilot a little time to heat up the fluid before driving around. The same can be said for a transmission cooler; you really can't "overcool" it.

With that being the case, I say go with the Derale 4-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler # D13212 over the Derale 2-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler # D13200. Anytime that you are able to install something that will help to keep your engine more on the cool side of things it is recommended as that will help to keep your engine from overheating and working too hard.

A transmission cooler like the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13503 that you referenced is confirmed to fit your Pilot with a 3.5L V6 Engine - 215 c.i. and will work great with either of the power steering coolers.
