Question:
I am looking for a galvanixed equalizer for 2 wide slipper springs w/ 9/16 eyelets. My old equalizer is approx. 12 x 4. This looks to be equivalent but I cannot tell if it is galvanized or not. Can you confirm this for me? It this one is not, do you have one that is?

Expert Reply:
The Equalizer for 2 Inch Wide Slipper Springs, # TREQ4541, is made from hot rolled steel, but it is not galvanized. This equalizer is the closest one to the measurements you have provided. I recommend using some corrosion resistant paint in order to achieve the corrosion resistance of a galvanized product.
