Question:

HI Helper, Can you tell me what size buckle these are made to cover and what prevents from coming off as it dangles in the breeze? Will it fit the 1inch strap ratchet buckle I use to anchor my kayak front and back? Theres a little 3 handle attached to a very skinny nylon cord designed to lift my wood kayak. I loop one end of the buckle strap through there, then the other end hooks on my bumper. but sometimes the the strap hangs loose and the buckle clangs into the kayak or car. A ton of thanks

Replacement Buckle Protector # 853-5593 is designed to fit Thule cam buckles that are 1-1/8 inches wide, 1-7/8 inches long, and 1/2 inch tall. It fits snug on the buckle and the strap has to run through it so it won't come off.

You also might consider some hook and loop straps # SR54FR to keep straps and other things nice and tidy.
