What PSI Are G Load Range Tires Rated For

Question:

I have E rated tires on my 5th wheel with a maximum 80PSI, can I go to a G rated tire?

I do have a G load range tire for you, however the recommended psi for our G range tires is 110. As you have indicated your current setup of having a max psi rating of 80, it is likely that they are not rated for the added weight and pressure needed for a higher load range.

In order to upgrade to a G load range tire, you will have to replace your current wheels with new wheel rated for a G load range such as the Taskmaster Steel 10-Spoke Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" - 8 on 6-1/2 - White
Item # TTW660865WS4 and then you could use the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G
Item # TTWPRG235R16 . All of our G range tires have a 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, therefore you will need to verify this on your trailer before installation. We do not have this combination of tire and wheel pre-mounted, but you could order them and get them mounted at a local shop.

I have included a list of all our G load range wheel and tire combinations for your review.
