Will Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock Work on 2017 Honda Ridgeline with Backup Camera

Question:
I have placed a order for the PAL8600 tail gate lock for my Honda. After watching the install video it looks like the back up camera is where the lock cylinder goes. Is the item going to interfere with the camera operation?

The Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8600 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 Honda Ridgeline and is indeed compatible with the backup camera in the tailgate handle. There will be no interference with the camera and both systems will still work perfectly when the Tailgate Lock is installed. I confirmed this with the manufacturer.
