With our Toyota PU , we are looking for a fixed mount to install on the shell of the truck bed.

We have just what you need. For a rack system that will attach to the camper shell you have installed on your 2002 Toyota Tacoma the TraRac CapRac part # TH29200XT is a confirmed fit and would work well. This is a fixed rack that attaches directly to the cap. See picture.
