Does The Cover For The 1116 Have A Backing Plate To Keep Birds Out?

Question:
I have a problem with birds building nest in my pin box. Does the cover for the 1621 have a back plate or is it still open for birds?

The 5th Wheel Pin Box Cover for Lippert 1621 - White # LC301458 gives you a clean look and helps keep moisture and debris out while traveling, but is open to the back. It will give you an additional fascia to connect a backing plate to, but we don't have anything like that. I recommend getting some plexi-glass and some superglue to add that backing from a local craft store.
