Replacement Key 2818 for Sears Sport 20-SV Rooftop Cargo Carrier

Question:

I thought I read somewhere that I could get a replacement key for my car top carrier. This is a Sears Sport 20-SV and the key number is 2818. Need to purchase one before my summer vacation. I am a previous customer. Have purchased a Thule bike rack and a Curtis hitch

You came to the right place for a replacement key for your Sears Sport 20-SV rooftop cargo carrier.

Since this item was made by Thule their replacement keys work just fine. For a lock with code 2818 you will use part # THKEYN2818. The key is sold individually so you might want to order two.

When you use a brand new replacement key for the first time it can sometimes have a snug fit as you insert it into the lock. If this is the case just insert and remove the key a few times to loosen things up. You can also apply a light lubricant like WD40 if needed.
