I HAVE A 2006 NISSAN TITAN THAT I BROUGHT A 7 WAY AND 4 WAY TRAILER CONNECTOR N40975. HAD SERVICE LIGHTS AT FIRST. HAD TO CHANGE CONNECTOR ON TRAILER TO FIT CONNECTOR ON TRUCK. WHEN PLUG BACK IN NO SERVICE LIGHTS. ON OTHER LIGHTS WORK. CHECK WITH VOLT METER SERVICE LIGHT PLUG FORM TRUCK CONNECTOR NO POWER

it sounds as if one of the relays is not in the correct location or a fuse is blown. I would double check the owners manual to determine the location of all the towing relays and fuses and see if everything is in the correct spot and in good working order. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing installation on a 2006 Nissan Titan for reference.
There could be one additional relay needed. If you look under the dash, and to the left of the steering column, you may find a relay socket. This relay will be the same as the blue relays used under the hood. I would use one of these relays to test the connector under the dash and then purchase a new one for the under hood install.
