Question:

I am interested in a Yakima LoadWarrior basket, but would want to be able to mount my Yakima FrontLoader bike racks. It looks like the basket already has a rear bar Would I only need 1 Yakima LoadBar for the front? How would I lock the Loadbar would the SKS accessory lock housing work? thanks!

The Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07070 has the rear bar as you mentioned. To add the second bar, I recommend the Extension for Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07074 which adds 18 inches to the basket and also adds the crossbar. This already combined in the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket with Extension Kit # Y07070-74. You can add a load bar with the Replacement Loadbar For Yakima LoadWarrior # 8870042 to the smaller rack if you don't need the extra length. This bar secures with an Allen screw. You would need to replace the hardware, but you could use the Yakima Accessory Lock Housing - Same Key System (SKS) Compatible # Y07220 to secure the load bars or you could use the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Cable, 9' Long (Lock Core Sold Separately) # Y07233 to secure your equipment and accessories.

This system will work well with your Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier - Roof Mount # Y02103.
