Vehicle manufacturers don't always (Hardly ever) use the standard green, yellow, white, brown wire coloring we're familiar with. So, you have to connect the harness by function. Use a circuit tester, like our # PTW2993, to test the wiring on the Jeep to determine each one's function. Then wire it as follows:
Green - Right turn signal
Yellow - Left turn signal
White - Ground to the Jeep's frame
Brown - Running lights
If you'd rather use the custom wiring harness for the Grand Cherokee, I recommend # 118349. This installs by plugging in behind both taillights and then running a wire up to the Jeep's battery.
