Question:
Do I understand correctly that if I use a P2 controller I will be able to plug in directly to the factory harness with the wires I make from Volkswagon parts. Is it different from the Prodigy or P3 that seem to require a separate lead from the brake switch. I want to be sure to choose the controller with the easiest install.

Expert Reply:
The Prodigy # 90185, P2 # 90885, and P3 # 90195 all would install the same. If you have a brake controller install harness ready in your 2009 Volkswagen Touareg it would easily install with it but it would not plug directly into it.
The FAQ article I attached would walk you through the install process.
