The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C49KR, is a wiring harness for a 2006 to 2007 Nissan Murano. If you do not have a 4-Pole flat connector on your Murano this harness will give you a 4-Pole flat trailer connector on the back of your Murano. If you already have a 4-Pole on your vehicle you will not need this part.

The Curt wiring harness will plug into existing sockets on the vehicles wiring harness, located under the trunk liner in the rear cargo area. You will also need to run the black power wire from the converter in the rear to the positive post of the vehicle's battery using the included 10 amp in-line fuse. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Curt wiring harness.

With a 4-Pole flat connector on the rear of your vehicle you can now use the Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, part # ETBC7, to hardwire a 7-Way to your vehicle. I am including a link to a FAQ page that will describe how to install the # ETBC7 on your vehicle.

Now that the 7-Way is installed, you can wire in the brake controller. The blue wire on the brake controller needs to be wired to the blue wire on the 7-Way. The white wire needs to go to the negative terminal of the battery. The black wire needs to be run to the positive terminal on the battery with a 20 or 30 amp breaker depending on controller model. Finally the red wire needs to be connected to the wire coming off the brake pedal switch that only goes hot when the pedal is pressed.
