Question:
I just received my 2017 Chevy Silverado Short Bed 3500 . I have a Reese 16K fifth wheel . I ordered the factory Curt fifth wheel and Goose neck hitch systems . The dealer told me I could use my fifth wheel hitch , But not. Will my fifth wheel fit the Curt part # C16023 . I am going to put a sidewinder on the pin box ,so I will not need a slider. Thank you for your time.

I really wish we had an adapter I could recommend would work, but the Curt you referenced allegedly will only fit Curt slider hitches. We keep hearing that Reese is going to have an adapter out that would work for you but it keeps getting pushed back. I hope it comes out soon so we have a solution that allows you to use your Reese hitch.
Otherwise you could replace the hitch with the B and W Companion par t# BWRVK3700 that is a confirmed fit for your factory rail kit in your 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500. This would work well with a Sidewinder with the custom wedge part # SWW-06.
