How is this Mx4 bed cover different from the G2? I have a 2017 Nissan Frontier Crew cab with 5foot bed, if that matters.

For your 2017 Nissan Frontier the Bak MX4 part # BAK48506 and the BAKFlip G2 # BAK26506 are both pretty similar in that they are folding aluminum tonneau covers that will fit and work great, but there are a few differences.
The MX4 is also compatible with the BakBox which is a storage box, part # BAK92100. The MX4 also has a weight rating of 400 lbs evenly distributed on it while the G2 isn't rated at all.
