Will Reese Titan Weight Distribution Shank For 2-1/2 Inch Hitches Fit Only A 2014 Ford F-350?

Question:

The question is will this fit my 2014 truck, I don’t care if it fits other vehicles. There was a note on your website that this will also not work with newer 2012 - 2013 Ford OEM 2-1/2 inch hitches, which is why I am asking if it will fit my 2014.

No. The Reese Titan Weight Dist Shank - 1-1/4" Drop, 5-1/4" Rise - 1,700 lbs TW # RP54976 will fit any vehicle with a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. It will fit far more vehicles than just your 2014 Ford F-350. It is not vehicle specific.

I have reached out to the manufacturer and the only years that do not work for the # RP54976 to work with the OEM hitches from Ford are 2012 and 2013 that they are aware of. You shouldn't have any issues with the 2014 OEM hitch. For whatever reason the OEM hitches for those years had a slightly different dimension that would require rounding out the shank edges, but it seems that Ford fixed their issue.
