Will SumoSprings Work With 2016 Ford F-250 Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2016 F250 FX4 with the 6.7 PSD. Im looking at purchasing a fifth wheel camper that is just under the listed max capabilities of the truck loaded. I would like to travel long distances with the camper. Would the SumoSprings be my best option to help my truck tow it safely, or would you recommend a better upgrade/upgrades? The dry weight of the trailer is well under the rated capacity of my truck. Its the loaded weight that is just below the rated capacity.

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs, part # SSR-114-54 are designed to be able to cushion the ride of your 2016 F-250 truck when you are carrying loads, and should do a nice job for you.. They are progressive so they compress as more weight is added to the truck. The springs are an easy no-drill installation as they replace the vehicle jounce bumpers on your truck.

Using a suspension enhancement like part # SSR-114-54 will not increase your load capacity.
