Does a Trailer Hitch Decrease Ground Clearance on a 2017 Mazda CX-3

Question:
Mazda 2017 CX3 Grand Turing. I have a steep driveway to garage under house 25 to 30 degree off horizontal pitch to flat at bottom. If I buy the car, I want to put the hitch on and still get the car into the garage. Hitches hang below and I want to make sure it will not impact storing the car.

The bottom of the receiver portion of trailer hitch # 24933 for your 2017 Mazda CX-3 will be approximately 9-1/2 inches up from the ground. There are some parts of the vehicle that hang a bit lower on the vehicle itself but as far as at the end of the CX-3 the hitch will be the lowest point.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. I have linked the Class I compatible 2-bike racks and cargo carriers for you.
