Snow Chain Recommendations for a 2008 Roadtrek Motorhome Built on a 3500 Chevy Express Van Chassis
Question:
We own a 2008 Roadtrek Motorhome. It is built on a 3500 chev. express Extended Van Chassis. Unloaded vehicle weight is 7700 lbs. The tire size is LT245/75R16E. We want to buy tire cable chains! Will light truck cable chain work? Or should we buy the Heavy weight Truck Cable Chains? Please advise.

You could use either cable style chains like the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part # PW1046, that you referenced or you could use standard link style chains on your 2008 Roadtrek Motorhome that is built on a 3500 Chevy Express Van chassis.
Both of these chain styles will give you increased traction in adverse winter weather. However, standard chain style will give you more traction than the cable style, especially in icy conditions.
If you wanted to go with the standard style chains I would recommend you go with Titan Chain # TC2524 chains which have a superior diamond pattern and steel square links for the best bite possible.
I attached a link to an FAQ article on snow chains below for you to check out also.
