will a vgm07-4000 tailgate fit a 2016 chev 2500 hd Silverado.i removed from a 2011 chev 2500 hd. thanks

The 2011 and 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 series trucks do not use the same 5th wheel tailgates. The dimensions of the trucks are different so they require different tailgate designs. The 4000 series 5th wheel tailgate for the 2016 is # VGM-14-4000. I have included a link to the 5th wheel tailgate options we have for your 2016 as well.
