Base Plate Kit Recommendation for 2007 Honda Fit and Replace Shank for Blue Ox Aladdin

Question:

We have a 2007 Honda fit with manual transmission. Will BX2252 base plate fit this vehicle? Can I tow this vehicle any distance without a problem with the transmission? Tow bar question: I have a BX4325 Aladdin Blue Ox tow bar. I need to know if parts in the picture are still available and what is the cost. I will need other parts. I have the part numbers and can order them later. The U bracket on the back of the shank ,,, does it come separate? Does the baseplate come with the removable draw bars? Please advise. Thank you.

For your 2007 Honda Fit the base plate kit part # BX2252 is a confirmed fit and would work well. You would not have any distance restrictions either since you have a manual transmission.
