I have the Thule roof rack TH45058 on my 2015 Explorer and might purchase the Curt Cargo basket C18115-117. The basket comes with a fairing, so do I still need one for the roof rack itself and if so, how do I determine which one to get?

The wind fairing that is included with the Curt Cargo Basket # C18115-117, is designed for the front of the cargo carrier only and is not long enough to reach the roof of your Explorer.
The longest wind fairing for Thule crossbars we offer is part # TH22WV. This fairing is 52-inches long and will work well with the square crossbars you have on your roof rack.
