The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 52181-1 is confirmed to fit your 2001 Saturn Coupe SC01 and is compatible with the Quick Disconnects # RM-222 mentioned in your question and all Roadmaster tow bars. The Tow Bar Quick Disconnects are designed to work with the Roadmaster StowMaster, StowMaster All-Terrain or Falcon All-Terrain tow bars. If you have one of these tow bars then these parts will work great.

If you do not yet have a tow bar, I recommend the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501. This is the most popular tow bar for your Saturn and has a self-aligning design with a 6,000 pound capacity. You will also need to use safety cables like the RoadMaster # RM-646 in case the coupler comes detached from the ball in an emergency situation.

For tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # 154-792-118158. This will allow you to connect your towed car's lighting system to your RV's to get the brake lights and turn signals that are required for towing.

A supplemental braking system is also required in most states when flat towing. I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. This is a great proportional braking system that will activate the brakes on the Saturn by actually pressing down on the brake pedal with the same intensity that you apply to it in your RV.

Lastly, you will need a ball mount if you do not have one already. I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection as well as a helpful article that will help you choose the correct one for your setup.

I have also included a great article on flat-towing that goes into further detail on all the necessary components.
