Question:
Im considering the Prodigy P3 brake controller for my 2014 VW Touareg that came with the factory installed tow package including the Pollak 7 Way Socket. My Question: does the VW factory wiring harness come with a connector under the dash to connect the brake controller or do I have to cut into the wiring harness to connect the controller? Also, do you all know of any issues connecting this controller to this VW that customers may have shared? Thanks so much for your help

For your 2014 VW Touareg, the factory 7-way wiring does not include the brake controller wiring harness. To run the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, there are special steps needed and I've attached an article to help.
If you don't wish to do the wiring, you can use the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # TK94FR which uses radio frequency so no further wiring is needed. This is also a nice brake controller for your Touareg.
We have had great feedback from both controllers, so it just depends on your preferences for install and operation features.
