The HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Drum Brakes - 1,000 psi # HBA-10, is a great product. There are only certain brake controllers confirmed to work with this actuator. There are many factory integrated brake controllers and some time delayed controllers that won't work well with any Electric Over Hydraulic system. Obviously we want your trailer brakes to work properly every time you hit your brakes in the tow vehicle as well as when you hit the manual override on the controller, so we have the chart of compatible controllers on the page. If you have a different brake controller, let me know and I'll see if it is confirmed to work with this actuator or not. We have not had any issues with compatibility when using the confirmed fit controllers with this actuator.
