What about the 12 volt electric winches? Just watched a YouTube video, it sounded pretty generic. The Master Lock one anyway. Probably burn up after a few uses.

I recommend a 2-speed winch with a hand brake for loading and unloading your go-kart.
The winch I recommend is the Dutton-Lainson, part # DL14730. This winch has a capacity of 2,000-lbs and can use either cable or a strap. The gear ratio can be changed so you have better control of your go-kart.
If you want to use a strap I recommend part # DL24249. for cable I recommend part # DL24045.
You will want to make sure you have a secure location to mount the winch.
