There is no real physical performance difference between a modular or spoke wheel design. The only real difference is in aesthetics of the wheel.

However, you will need to know your wheel bolt pattern to make sure you pick the correct wheel for your trailer. On 15 inch wheel and tire assemblies the bolt patterns available are 5 on 4-1/2 inch, 5 on 5 inch, and 6 on 5-1/2 inch. I have linked an article that will show you how to measure your wheels to find your correct wheel bolt pattern if you have 5 hole wheels.

However, between the tires, you can see differences that can influence which tire will work the best for your application.

The Taskmaster Tire and Wheel # TA24VR has a 225/75-R15 load range D tire. This tire is an 8-ply radial tire that has a maximum load capacity of 2,540 lbs at 65 psi. The tire also has a speed rating of 81 mph. This wheel has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern.

If you move up to a load range E tire, like # LHAW124, then you are looking at a 10-ply tire that will carry a maximum load of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi and the speed rating in at 75 mph. This wheel has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern.

The difference between the D and E load tires is the weight capacity of the E rated tire is higher. These tires are usually stiffer because of their 10-ply construction. Because of this some customers find E rated tires will give you a stiffer ride than a D rated tire.

The Westlake wheel and tire, # LHAW124, has a better warranty than the Taskmaster assembly. The Westlake tire has a 5 year warranty on the tire, a 1 year on the wheel, and the warranty I find the best a 1 year no excuses warranty. The no excuses warranty will cover the tire if within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way that's not covered by warranty, it will be replaced at no charge. You will also be compensated a flat labor rate for the cost of mounting the replacement tire.
