Question:
Can I convert a 14000 Reese 5th wheel to a slider? I have a 14000 5th wheel hitch in my short bed Dodge. I have had it since 2000 and would like to convert to a manual slider so that I do not have to continue to worry about the 5th wheel trailer and the pickup cab coming into contact as easily. Do you make adapter rails that would fit? Thank you.

As long as your hitch is indeed a Reese 14K hitch then you can mount the head and center section to slider base # RP30048 or the # RP50024 round tube slider for a more smooth transition. On a slider hitch you will not be able to use the lowest height setting for the hitch so keep that in mind as well. It usually doesn't affect most applications.
