My car trailer has a 12 volt battery to power my winch and new electric jack. I would like the battery to charge whenever The trailer is connected to the shore power. What do I need to do? Thanks

A great way to keep your trailer-mounted battery well-maintained when shore power is available is to use an AC-powered charger/maintainer like the CTEK products, such as # CTEK56353. This unit automatically switches from charge mode to maintenance mode as your battery is topped off.
I have owned and used one of their chargers for almost 6 years. Mine continues to perform perfectly even after almost 6 years of non-stop 24/7 duty charging motorcycle, auto and lawn mower batteries.
