Question:
Im looking at getting a tow vehicle to pull my race car trailer. It currently does not have a receiver or trailer wiring on it. I wanted to see what you offer for this. The vehicle is a 1994 Ford E350, but has the ambulance box on the rear. It does have the center folding rear bumper. Thanks

For your 1994 Ford E-350, I recommend the 1994 Ford Van Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class IV - 2" # 41906. This is an heavy-duty corrosion-resistant hitch. For your ball mount, I recommend the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount - 2" & 2-5/16" Balls - 14,000 lbs # C45900. This will allow you to adjust the height of the ball for your trailer to tow level. I recommend using the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span # 63232 to secure your ball mount and give you a more stable and quiet ride.
For your wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118343. This harness will plug into your factory wiring with quick connectors you can find behind each tail light. This will give you a 4-way flat connection.
If you have brakes on your trailer, you will also need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This kit will give you all the connectors, wires, and circuit breakers needed to turn that 4-way into a 7-way. I've attached an installation video to help. If you need trailer brakes you will also want a brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller will give you an easy to read LCD display that will take code deciphering out of the equation. This will also give you adjustability for your driving preferences and 3 levels of boost.
