Question:
Towing on dolly. Where do I hook safety chains
asked by: Tom
Expert Reply:
When towing your 2016 Kia Soul on a dolly like # RM-2050-1, you will only connect safety chains between the tongue of the dolly and the hitch of your towing vehicle. To secure your vehicle to the dolly you only need wheel nets like the Replacement Wheel Net for Roadmaster Tow Dolly # RM-2150. I've attached a video to help.
If you mean connecting safety chains to your base plates when towing, you will hook them up to the base plates using the locking ring. I've attached a video of a similar product and you can see this at the 8 minute mark.
