Question:

I am installing a Invisibrake in my 2015 Silverado 1500, and I am unable to find which wire is the cold wire on the brake light switch. There are about seven wires on the switch, and I have probed them all, I think. They are very small gauge wires, and very hard to probe. Do you know what color the cold wire should be? Is there anywhere else I can tap into the wire that might easier to get to? Hope you can help!!! Thanks

The other place you can check is the third brake light of the truck. The wiring to this light will only carry the stoplight circuit.

If you are trying to install a brake controller all you would need to install a Tekonsha controller like the P3 part # 90195 is the part # 3016 which plugs into the port for the controller under the dash. See install video.
