Question:
I have a 2014 Audi A6 with AWD and did not see a custom wiring kit for adding a trailer hitch light package. Is there a problem with installing these systems on an A6. What is the recommended wiring package to use for this vehicle.

We do not carry a custom wiring kit for your 2014 Audi A6. I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Wiring Harness # 119250KIT on your Audi. This is a universal harness that does not require any splicing. Instead, it uses sensors that clamp around the car's wires to read the current that travels through the wire. I've attached an install video for you to take a look at.
If you don't already have a htich reciever on your A6, the Curt # C11423 is a Class I receiver confirmed to fit. It has a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds with a maximum tongue weight rated of 200 pounds. As always you should check your owner's manual to verify your vehicle doesn't have any restrictions on towing.
For a ball mount, an option is the Curt # C45521 that has a rise of 2-5/8 inches or a drop of 3-1/4 inches. Then either # A-82 for a 2 inch hitch ball or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. Finally, # F-4 will work for a pin and clip.
