With the Hijacker locking plate DM6036 installed on a Demco Glide Ride kingpin, how do you adjust the stabilizing bars on the Hijacker Autoslide hitch head? Do you lock them down on the base plate requires grinding or leave them open? All of this on a 2016 Ford F350 with OEM puck system.

I spoke with my contact at Demco about the locking bars for your Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550038 on your 2016 Ford F-350 and I have a few options for you.
Since you are using the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate # DM6036, they said the locking bars can either be opened up all the way and tightened to stay out of the way or completely removed.
