Question:

Hi- I was wondering if the aero kind of rack is compatible with a 2013 Audi A4 Sedan with a plain roof? If so, what would I need? Thanks

We do have aero-style roof racks to fit your 2017 Audi A4 Sedan from makers like Thule, Yakima and Inno. All of them appear on the linked page.

If it were my car and my money I would select the Inno Flush rack made of parts # INXB100-108, # INXS200 and # INK481. This rack system is shown in the linked installation video. On your car the bars will have a spread of 26-inches, wide enough for excellent stability for whatever items you load on them, and a weight capacity of 120-lbs total.

The racks all use the wing-like aero-style bars that make less wind noise but some of them are designed so that the bars terminate in the rack's feet (flush bars) while other racks have bars that extend out past the feet. Many consider the shorter flush bars to give a cleaner and more OEM-like appearance but that is certainly a matter of personal taste. Prices for the racks vary too, as you'll note when you look over the rack systems on the linked page.
