Question:
I have a 2007 Trunda double cab . I have the Cipa towing mirrors and use them for towing. My question is can the small Cipa mirrors be installed to the bottom of the factory mirror rather than the top. I seem to need mirrors to see parking lines behind me. Would the image be the same if mounted on the bottom side of the factory mirrors.

Helpful Expert Reply:
A blind-spot (or hot spot) convex mirror like the CIPA # 49403 and # CM49805 can be affixed to your factory mirror to give you your preferred view of the road and vehicles behind you. These will display the image of what is behind you based on exactly where you install it. Blind Spot Mirror # CM49805 can be installed on the bottom of your mirror if that is better for visibility.
If you want to have a separate view for easier parking you might want to consider either a separate door-mount mirror like the CIPA # 11650, or a backup camera system like those shown on the linked page. The Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor # 04928 features a magnetic-mount camera with night-vision capability. This will help a lot when it is time to park the trailer - day or night. For more information please refer to the two linked videos on the Swift Hitch.
