Question:
Hi I want to tow my 16foot airstream and have been tuning into many issues which I now understand upon watching your related video! I recently purchased a TEKONSHA prodigy RF electronic brake control to avoid all the described issues BUT I see its possible to just use a 7 pin direct wired to battery! Did I make the wrong purchase and should I just buy the high capacity wiring curt you suggest and change the dealer 4 pin to a 7, once CURT product is installed? Thanks so much for your detailed explanation as The Lexus dealer would not describe the reasons they would not convert my 4pin to 7!!!!

To install the Prodigy RF # 90250 on your 2007 Lexus 400h that currently has a 4-way will only require the adapter part # 37185 with the black wire ran to the positive post of the battery through a circuit breaker part # 9510.
For 10 gauge wire we have the part # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot.
