Question:
So, even with this setup do I have to remove all the parts as the less expensive base plates? If so, do you provide instructions? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The nice thing about the Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit, part # RM-344-3B is the removable arms. Once they are removed, the base plates become almost invisible. I am not sure which less-expensive base plates you are talking about but the removal of the arms with this kit just requires the removal of the included pin.
