Published 12/01/2016 >
Question:
Just purchased a 2012 Open Range Roamer and it has a Lippert 1716 pin box on it. I have a 1621 5th Airborne 5AB-E1621-16K I used on my old 5th wheel. Are these switchable?

Expert Reply:
The Lippert 1716 and 1621 pin boxes are different enough that they would not allow you to interchange between the two.
For your trailer with a 1716 pin box the correct 5th Airborne is the part # 5AB-E510-710.
