Question:
I am considering a C13068 for my 2015 Honda Odyssey. Its primary purpose will be for this 2 inch receiver Kuat Sherpa 2.0 bicycle rack already purchased. Kuat shows that their 2inch receiver racks are set up for 1/2inch hitch pins. Should I be looking at a different hitch?

The Curt Hitch # C13068 for a 2015 Honda Odyssey has the 2 inch receiver opening that will work with your Kuat Sherpa 2.0 bike rack like part # SH22G. I contacted Kuat and they explained that the reason why they use a 1/2 inch hitch pin is to accommodate many different types of hitches. Trailer hitches that have the 2 inch opening have a 5/8 inch pin hole. The 5/8 inch pin hole is the industry standard on 2 inch hitch receivers.
Once you have installed your Kuat Sherpa 2.0 into the hitch, you can install the locking hitch pin that was included with the bike rack. Lock the pin and then tighten the Sherpa's anti-rattle knob to finish securing the bike rack in the hitch.
The hitch pin is used as a retaining device between the bike rack and the hitch. The anti-wobble wedge that is installed on the bike rack's shank is the part that secures the rack into the hitch. The pin is used to retain the bike in place if the wedge were to fail. With using the anti-wobble wedge on the bike rack, there will be no unwanted movement at the hitch pin.
If you need a hitch pin lock, I recommend the Kuat Bike Rack Hitch Lock # HL2.
I have attached a link that shows the installation of the Curt trailer hitch on a 2016 Honda Odyssey.
