The Curt Class I Receiver Hitch # C11221 is confirmed to fit your 2011 Chevrolet Volt. This trailer hitch offers a 1-1/4 inch receiver, with a 100 pound tongue weight and 1,000 pound towing capacity. Drilling is required to install the hitch and then the hitch will bolt to the frame with the included hardware. The Curt warranty for this hitch requires all non-trailer loads to be supported with a support strap, # 18050.
