Before purchasing or using snow chains, you will want to make sure that your owners manual does not prohibit the use of chains.

Assuming that your XB has 185/60-15 tires, you have several choices. If you are only purchasing the chains for this one particular trip, you might want to go with a more basic set of chains, like the Glacier Square Link Snow Tire Chains, part # PWPLC1126. As you move up in price, the chain sets are easier to install. The Thule Standard Tire Chains, part # TH01221065 are a good middle of the road option. This set offers color-coded connection points for easy installation. Also included are a hard-sided storage container, a kneeling mat that will keep you out of the snow and a set of plastic gloves to keep that road goop off of your hands. Moving up in price, we offer the Thule Self-Tensioning Chain, part # TH00204065. This set is extremely easy to install, simply loop chains around tire and drive off. The chains tighten and center on the tire as you drive.

I have provided links to all of the products recommended, as well as a link to our Tire Chain FAQ article that will provide more information about snow chains. I will also link to some product demonstration videos for the Thule tire chains.
