Replacement Strap to Hold Rolled Up Tonneau Cover on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado

Question:
Can this strap be used to replace a strap on a soft top roll up tonneau cover to hold it in place when rolled up? The original strap frayed and is now broken.

Replacement strap # TX1118185 is meant to secure a rolled up Tonneau cover so it could work for you. The strap is meant to fit TruXedo Lo Pro QT and Deuce roll up Tonneau covers but would work fine with other similar brands.
